BASIC TIPS FOR QUICK RESULTS -
1️⃣ SLEEP - Never Miss out on your ZZZZ's or it can cause -
❌Mental Fog (lack of concentration)
❌Weight Gain - Affect hormones leptin and ghrelin that tell the brain when you are full!
❌Stress – constant stress causes the release of hormones cortisol and insulin triggering over eating, shifting our preferences to comfort foods. 🍰🍫🍩
2️⃣ WATER - Your body depends on it! Making up more than half the body weight. Every cell, tissue and organ in your body needs water to work and dehydration can lead to -
Sleepiness or fatigue
Extreme Thirst
Headache
Confusion
Dizziness or light headedness
Urine darker
3️⃣ EXERCISE GO LIFT! – Start with a 10-15 minute walk every day to get you started. Set yourself a daily target and follow it. 🏋🏼♂️. Pick up some weights or anything you have and start lifting, if you don’t know how, come and see me 💪🏼
4️⃣. NUTRITION 🍳🍌🥕
Make your breakfast count, when I break fast (start eating after sleep) - I enjoy 3 eggs, whole meal toast or on the go - a shake with 2 scoops of quality whey protein with oats and water, you can add fruit, peanut butter, anything healthy.
✅ Choose lean PROTEIN and eat it with every meal, keeps you fuller for longer and is essential for retaining and building muscle.
CARBS (complex/ unrefined) - brown rices, quinoa, sweet potato etc. and get your veggies in for good fibre ( my fav broccoli & spinach).
FATS - I thrive on GOOD fats (unsaturated) like salmon, almonds, cottage cheese.
5️⃣ MEDITATE & GET IN NATURE … meditate 15 minutes a day , hug your fur ball more 🐶😽 and get outside in nature as much as possible 🙏🏼 🌳🌻🪷
